Prayer Requests

Folks we all go through rough patches in life. Eventually we will all have our own pains, trials and tribulations to confront. This is just a simple fact of life.

But, as I’ve stated throughout this site that, you need to know that you don’t have to go through anything, and I mean anything in life alone! No matter if you are alone or surrounded by a thousand people.

If you’re not ready to commit to the Lord that’s okay but that in now way does not mean you can’t ask to be prayed for and have someone honor that request on your behalf.

Surely you deserve this and so much more!

But will you try something for me? Try believing your prayers will be answered.

Because I can tell you this; me and a thousand other people can pray for you but in order to fully receive His blessings you’ll have to do your part my friend.

You have to believe. You have to believe to receive.

But as I can personally attest that just turning to prayer instead of reaching for a drink, a drug, a sexual encounter, being violent toward another, or any of the other things we turn to when trying to escape our pain, is the first step to freedom!

You see by the simple fact of requesting prayer you’re acknowledging Him and he in return is going to acknowledge you

Folks you’re knocking on the His door when you pray or ask others to do so for you he personally tells us in Matthew 7:7 that all we have to do is "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.”

Say what?

What God is telling us all here is that when we ask for him and of him He will open himself to us! We just have to take that first baby step and just by asking for a prayer request here you're acknowledging Him, you're knocking on His door.

So if you’ve come this far why not expect the door to be opened?

Expect what is freely and rightfully yours to have!

There are two ways to leave a prayer request, you can email me at agrsvone@gmail.com or you can leave your request in the comment section below. But no matter how it gets to me your prayers will be brought forth posthaste to the Living Lord Our God and Savior!

Remember to believe and have faith your that all your prayers will be answered, and please do let me know how everything turns out!

United in Gods Love,

Dana

A Short Story: Two Brothers, Two Fields, And A Stranger

Image courtesy:  prozac1 Good day all, I hope you are all in good spirits! Today’s message started-out as that, a message. But as I began putting pen to paper  The Lord spoke to me and as a result the message and the way I was going to deliver it today is completely different than what I intended. Instead of a short and simple message on the disadvantages of repetitive prayer, today’s message turned into a short story about prayer and so much more, including how we limit ourselves when only asking for God’s blessings in prayer. It’s the often the little things that can have the biggest impacts on a person’s life, and how lives can be completely changed in one season. Two Brothers, Two Fields, and a Stranger Some time ago an old Christian man, that many looked-up too and admired as a committed man of faith, was about to breathe his last. This old Christian had two sons and he called them in one day to give them each their inheritanc...

Could You Kill Someone Who's Persecuting You?

Image courtesy of  evangelicaloutpost.com It’s no secret now that in Mosul Iraq there are Christians being persecuted for their Christian faith. And while prayers of peace, comfort, and freedom for our fellow brothers and sisters is being sent from all corners of the world, there are those Christians and non- Christians alike that are saying they would take-up arms or do whatever it takes to protect their families and their Christian beliefs. For many non-Christians to respond like that is a no-brainer. But for a Christian… Our faith is everything If we are believers in Christ, our most sacred treasure, and one of our most important messages that we evoke, is our faith in God. But when it comes to God, faith is a big word. It’s a covenant between God and all His people whereby when we extol our abiding faith in Him, in return we receive His wonderful merit, His never-ending love, and His all-consuming grace. A covenant is an agreement; a contrac...

Is Technology Helping Or Hindering Religion?

I came across the above advice recently and while it's done in jest it got me thinking, from a religious standpoint, about the pros and cons of technology and whether or not it's helping or hindering religion. It’s no secret that technology has made it possible for the gospel to reach people in ways never imagined before thereby, on one hand, making technological advances pretty essential for religion as a whole. On the other hand when we see things like the saying above, we are seeing technology doing to religion the exact opposite of growth, and someone who’s recommending people who are lonely or feeling forgotten to turn to Facebook instead of God, is a perfect example of this. So do the pros of technology in religion outweigh the cons? The long arm of technology As Christians it’s our responsibility to spread God’s message and word, plus how through Christ we’re able to live this earthly life living with and in God’s divine grace rather than law. ...
